Returns & Refunds Policy

At Le Tam Beauty, we are committed to delivering authentic, high-quality fragrances. Your satisfaction is important to us, and this policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa) to ensure a fair and transparent process.


1. Online Purchases – Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with South African law, customers are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

You may return your order within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused and unopened
  • The product is in its original sealed packaging
  • You provide valid proof of purchase

Please note: For hygiene reasons, opened perfumes cannot be returned unless they are defective.


2. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • You must notify us within 6 months of purchase
  • You are entitled to:
    • A repair,
    • A replacement, or
    • A full refund

Le Tam Beauty will cover return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.


3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please:

  1. Email us at letamperfume@gmail.com
  2. Include your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending your item back

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


4. Return Shipping Fees

  • A R120 return courier fee applies to all non-defective returns
  • This amount will be deducted from your refund
  • No return fee will be charged for defective or incorrect items

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless defective:

  • Gift cards
  • Sale / clearance / archive items
  • Samples
  • Free gifts or gifts-with-purchase

6. Condition of Returned Items

All returned products must be:

  • Unused and unopened
  • In original packaging with seals intact
  • In a resellable condition

Le Tam Beauty reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.


7. Exchanges

We offer exchanges based on product availability:

  • Exchanges can be made for items of equal value
  • If exchanging for a lower-priced item, the balance will be issued as store credit
  • If exchanging for a higher-priced item, the difference must be paid

8. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 5 working days after the returned item has been received and inspected
  • Refunds will be issued via your original payment method
  • Please allow an additional 3–5 working days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund

9. Delivery Fees

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item
